After almost an entire year, I’ve decided to resume watching Fairy Tail again. I put the series on hold after the conclusion of the Tenrou Island arc as I was well aware that the anime was catching up to the manga, so I expected that a couple of filler arcs were up next instead of a continuation of the main plot. As such, I felt that the time was right to take a break from the series. Now don’t take that as a knock against Fairy Tail’s filler arcs, since a majority of them have been fantastic and well-written – it’s just that I’m one of those people that likes to marathon a series rather than wait each week for a new episode.

Tenchi Muyo is one of the few anime I can clearly recall watching during my childhood; I even remember browsing through my local Blockbuster’s anime collection with my brothers to see if they had the latest volume for rental. However, that was a looong time ago (almost a decade), so my memory of the series is pretty fuzzy. Therefore, for a little bit of fun, I’ve decided rewatch the entire series to see if it’s as fun as I remember, or if I simply have my nostalgia goggles on.

When you first start getting into collecting figures, it can be a daunting task figuring out where exactly to buy your beloved plastic crack from to feed your growing addiction. Well worry not, for today I’ll be giving a quick rundown of the advantages and disadvantages of a few online stores that I and a lot of other collectors frequent. Keep in mind that there are a lot more stores out there than just the ones I’ll be listing here; these are simply some of the best-known and trusted.
* I may update this list in future when I get the chance to try out other stores or if I feel it’s necessary to highlight more points about a particular store.

Funnily enough, even though I had been looking forward to this special for quite a while, I completely forgot to take note of any release details beyond a fairly vague “early 2013″. As such, I was (pleasantly) surprised when I actually did a search yesterday and discovered it had been released that very day!

As part of my blogging, I plan to cover the various anime that I’m currently watching (both current and older series). Please keep in mind that my coverage for a series may not necessarily start at its first episode. Instead, it will begin with what episode I am up to at this point in time.
It’s still up in the air if I will actually go back and take a look at older episodes. On the off chance that I do get around to such a task, it will most likely be left until I have finished covering the rest of that particular series.

“What’s on order” will be a recurring monthly feature where I’ll be covering the various pre-orders that I’ve made for a given month. Do note that said pre-orders may not have necessarily opened that month – I may have only recently become aware of their availability or finally decided to place my order. This month, it’s mainly me catching up with figures that I’ve had my eyes on for a while.

So, I totally paid for a couple of premium WordPress themes that I thought I’d like to use for the blog. You’d think that after investing in some premium products that I’d actually use them, right? Well, I kicked (financial) reason to the curb and instead ended up using a free WordPress theme that I came across last night.
While I may be out of pocket for absolutely no reason, at least the blog looks nice!
